Annie Sloan Chalk Paint is water-based and developed specifically for furniture. It very rarely requires any preparation, such as sanding or priming, and can be used indoors or outside, on just about any surface.
It can be used to paint wood, metal, melamine, flooring and it can even be used to paint glass. A super versatile paint!

Chalk Paint can be thinned with water and used as a wash. It can also be used as an impasto (thickly) — just leave the lid off overnight to thicken.

Once you’ve finished painting your piece of furniture, you’re going to want to seal in your paintwork with a top coat to create a lasting finish.
