So you’ve prepped and painted your piece of furniture and it looks amazing!  You also want your finish to last so here's a guide to help you decide what top coat you need.

For our chalk paints - Fusion Alchemy and Dixie Belle Chalk Paint,  we always recommend a top coat. 

Our Fusion Mineral paints and Dixie Belle Silk paints have a built in top coat. However if the painted area is high traffic or requires extra durability then we'd also recommend an extra layer of protection. 

For bare wood we have a range of products that can waterproof and add durability.
