Apply your Fusion Mineral Paint with a quality synthetic brush suited to your project size. Less is more — avoid over-application for the best results.

Lightly mist your brush and work surface with water using a fine spray bottle. This helps the paint spread evenly and settle flat. Apply paint in smooth, even strokes, working with the grain and finishing with full-length brush movements to eliminate visible brush marks.

Allow the first coat to dry for 20–60 minutes in room temperature conditions. Cold or damp environments will extend drying time. Apply a second coat using the same technique, then leave to dry completely. Multiple thin coats deliver superior results compared to one thick application.

Between coats, keep your brush moist in water to prevent it drying out. When finished, wash brushes in lukewarm water and use brush soap or conditioner occasionally to maintain bristle softness.

What to expect: Most pieces need one to two coats for full coverage. The first coat may appear blotchy — this is normal and will resolve after the second coat. Brushstrokes may be visible while wet but will disappear as the paint dries, thanks to Fusion's excellent self-levelling properties. Two coats are recommended for optimal durability and finish quality.
