The Pro‑Hybrid Series is crafted with 100% synthetic bristles, designed to deliver a beautifully smooth, brushstroke‑free finish with ease. These soft synthetic fibres are paired with a durable INOX stainless‑steel ferrule, making the brushes perfectly suited for both water‑based and oil‑based paints.

The flat brush is ideal for covering medium to large surfaces such as tables, doors, and dressers.

To enjoy the exceptional performance of your Staalmeester® brushes for years, proper cleaning after each use is essential.

For water‑based paints like Fusion Mineral Paint or Milk Paint, cleaning is simple:
After a quick rinse, let the brush rest in water—just up to the ferrule—for at least 30 minutes. This loosens the paint so it rinses away effortlessly. When washing, a small amount of Fusion Brush Cleaner helps remove any remaining paint while conditioning the bristles, which is especially beneficial for natural fibres.

For oil‑based products such as Stain & Finishing Oil, waxes, or other oil coatings, begin by cleaning with odourless mineral spirits before washing.

Tip: If you’re short on time, prevent paint from drying on your tools. Wrap brushes or rollers in plastic, cover with a damp cloth, or leave brushes standing in water up to the ferrule until you can clean them properly. For rollers, remove the sleeve and fully submerge it in water overnight, then rinse clean the next day.

If you are not happy with any product you order – don’t worry – you can always return it. We want you to be happy with everything you purchase from Vintage Attic.

Please email and let us know as soon as possible if you would like to return an item. Please return the item/s in their original condition within 14 days and we will refund you (excluding postage charges). Please use the original packaging to ensure against breakages. It is important to return items by recorded delivery as we cannot be held responsible for any items lost in transit. We will refund or exchange your order once it is received by us.

Please be aware that if the value of the product returned reduces the value of the original order to below that which qualifies for a volume discount we will deduct the discount value or the postage cost value from your refund.
